Enrolling takes about a week from your first call, and most of it is us doing the work. Here is exactly what happens.
1. Enquire
Fill in the form on any course page or call us. A course adviser — a real person based at one of our centres — calls you back within one business day.
2. Eligibility & funding check
We ask about residency, prior qualifications and concession status, then tell you which funding program you qualify for and your exact fee. Nothing is locked in yet.
3. Pre-enrolment
You complete a short Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) check and a pre-training review with your adviser. This is not a test you pass or fail — it helps us plan the support you might need.
4. Documents
We will need:
- Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) — free to create at usi.gov.au, we can help
- Proof of identity and Queensland residency
- Concession card if you have one
- Evidence of prior qualifications if you want credit transfer
5. Enrol and start
Sign your enrolment agreement, pay your deposit or co-contribution, and you are in. Orientation happens in the first session, where you meet your trainer and get your timetable and placement plan.
Before you start
Aged care, disability and childcare courses require a Blue Card and/or NDIS Worker Screening clearance before vocational placement. Your adviser will walk you through the applications — start them early as they can take several weeks.
