Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a government subsidy?

Yes, you can. We offer a range of courses that are subsidised by the Queensland Government under Certificate 3 Guarantee and Higher Level Skills. Talk to our team to find out which option suits you the best.

Can I study online?

Yes, we do offer online delivery of some of our courses. Due to the nature of the industry, there are some practical skills that you must acquire face to face in one of our training centres before commencing your placement.

This requirement will not apply if you’re already working as a support worker and wishing to get qualified or upskill. Our team can happily assist you with that.

Can I get a job after completing one of your courses?

Yes, you can. Both the aged and disability care industry is struggling due to a lack of support workers. There is a massive demand for people that are passionate and committed.

Historically, an overwhelming majority of our students completing our community care courses have been successful in securing employment as soon as they finish training.

Who will organise my vocational placement?

We will organise your vocational placement when you’re ready to do so. Please note that you must meet all requirements and complete practical skills training before you can be placed.
