– You must be able to obtain a working with children’s check.

– It’s recommended that you are at least 18 years old and have completed year 9 or equivalent before starting this course.

– It’s recommended that you have sound language and literacy skills.

– It’s recommended that you are able to access a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection.

Our Course’s Flexibility

Like our other child care courses, you can study our Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care course in a self-paced manner.

As usual, this course is delivered via an online learning system, making it as accessible as possible for the individual with multiple commitments. Additionally, this course is also delivered over a span of 30 weeks, but you have 12 months to complete the course in total and at your leisure.

How this course differs from a Certificate III course concerns the compulsory work placement. Instead of 160 hours, you must complete 280 hours of work placement.

Note: If you’re already employed in the relevant industry, then we can use your current and previous work hours as placement hours. If you aren’t already employed, we’ve still got you covered – we will organise your work placement.
