Course Description
This skill set is for workers with existing experience or qualifications in community services or health sector roles seeking to broaden their skills. Queensland Government Subsidised Students:
All Queensland government subsidised students are required to pay a co-contribution fee. Our co-contribution fees are as following:
Concessional Fee (if you’re getting centrelink or other benefits) –
$70 per unit of competency. Total of $210 for 3 units.
Non-concessional Fee –
$80 per unit of competency. Total of $240 for 3 units.
No payment for credit transfers.
Fee-Paying Applicants:
$797.00. Discounts are available for group bookings.

Can I get a government subsidy?
Yes. If you meet the eligibility criteria for Higher Level Skills, you will be eligible to receive a government subsidy for this course with Sage Education Australia.
Do I need to complete vocational placement?
No. Vocational placement is not required. However, you must be employed in the healthcare industry in an appropriate role.
When can I start?
The course is delivered 100% online and is self-paced. You can start anytime. We run trainer-guided webinars to discuss course content; additional support is available on demand.
How long does it take to complete this course?

Can I study online?
Yes, we do offer online delivery of some of our courses. However, you may need to attend a workshop to acquire practical skills mandatory for vocational placement.

Do you guarantee employment?
We do not guarantee employment. However, historically, most of your graduates secure employment as soon as they complete their course.

Who will organise my vocational placement?
We will organise your vocational placement when you’re ready to do so. However, please note that you must meet all requirements and acquire practical skills before your vocational placement is confirmed.
